All Filtral sunglasses come with 100% UV protection to protect the eyes from harmful UV rays. However, the degree of tinting is also crucial when it comes to choosing the right sunglasses, as this reduces light transmission to the eyes and makes it easier to see well.

Just as there are different lighting conditions – there are also different degrees of lens tint. Nevertheless, no matter how strong or dark the tint is, all Filtral sunglasses guarantee 100% protection against UV rays. 

With sunglasses, there is a distinction made betwee five different filter categories regarding the tinting and light transmission.

The most commonly bought sunglasses are those with lenses with a filter category of between 1 and 3. Glasses with a category 4 tint require special side guards and are not sold as part of the Filtral range.
